Just Another Statistic, This Time It's Me

New days and new leadership can not come soon enough for our country. Yesterday I learned that despite all the belt tightening and frugality we could muster, my wife and I will be losing our house. Simple math along with harsh reality got us here. Looking back to last January, it is amazing that we made it this long. But with unemployment and extended healing time from my knee injury making my return to work unlikely this year, the monthly bills finally overwhelmed the home budget. Thankfully we have a place to go and a place to begin all over again at our own pace. Clearly we have it a lot better than most folks losing their homes due to this economy. Things will improve with time and with the grace of God and family we will recover. In the meantime I will continue to blog away and watch this year wind down and next year come, bringing new hopes and new dreams.

  1. Sorry to hear all that. I didn't know you were in the middle of such a tough patch. But you're right, things have a way of working out OK.
